Fernandinos avail free health services during ‘Kapihan at Talakayan sa Barangay’

Residents of Barangay San Juan availed free dental check-up and laboratory services during the ‘Kapihan at Talakayan’ held in their area on Friday.

The city government also provided free back massage to pamper the senior citizens, women’s sector, Persons with Disabilities and solo parents present during the activity. The massage therapists are graduates of the skills training program of the Public Employment Service Office.

Meanwhile, Mayor Edwin “EdSa” Santiago also led a short discussion of the city’s initiatives anchored on the New San Fernando concept. He was joined by acting Vice Mayor and Councilor BJ Lagman, Barangay officials headed by Capt. Claro Tolentino and San Juan South Elementary School Principal Roel Santos.

The officials also unveiled the list of the completed projects in the barangay including the improvement of road at Palawe and canteen at City College, installation of RC pipe at Purok 3 and street lights at Lazatin Blvd., construction of road at Sto. Nino Village and lined canals at Magdalena, and declogging of San Juan creek.
