The elevated expressway will provide an alternative entry to the NLEX without passing through the heavily congested EDSA and other busy streets of Manila such as A. Bonifacio. Travel time from the Port of Manila to the NLEX will take only 10 minutes.

Villar said the elevated expressway will decongest Metro Manila.

On Friday morning, Villar inspected the newly-constructed portion of the project at McArthur Hiway, Karuhatan, Valenzuela City. Villar is accompanied by NLEX Corporation officials led by its president Rodrigo Franco.

“We are happy that our team was able to deliver 100 percent right-of-way for the NLEX Harbor Link Segment 10. We hope we can finish this just in time for the Christmas rush to help ease the public’s traffic woes,” said Villar.
