Guv vows to put up P10M diagnostic center for Mexico Community hospital

MEXICO – Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda vowed yesterday to subsidize the construction of a diagnostic center worth P10 million beside the Mexico Community Hospital to deliver general health laboratory services to every indigent Kapampangan.

This was revealed in a brief speech of Governor Pineda during the PhilHealth “Alaga Ka” Roadshow, here.

According to Nanay Gov, the proposed diagnostic center is a modest medical facility with wide-range of services such as medical and laboratory examinations, radiological examinations and other procedures.

“Doon sa diagnostic center mayroon ng CT-scan, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Electrocardiography (ECG), Impedance Cardiography (ICG) at Colonoscopy,” the governor said.

Pineda stressed that the diagnostic center will offer top-quality, affordable and modern healthcare services to those who are in need of medical assistance.

The lady governor also disclosed that Congressman Aurelio “Dong” Gonzales also pledged to allot an amount of P45-million for the expansion and development of community hospital.

She likewise recapped the free health benefits offered by PhilHealth noting the importance of maintaining good health and proper well-being through the no-balance billing policy of the Duterte administration when admitted in government hospitals.

“Gamitin nyo yung mga medical data records (MDRs) nyo. Pa check-up kayo para matignan yung kalusugan nyo. Matakot kayo kapag malala na yung sakit nyo,” she stressed.
