Lifestyle Asia hails Rep. Roman as ‘Agent of Change’

Bataan 1st District Rep. Geraldine B. Roman has made it to Lifestyle Asia’s latest ‘Agents of Change’ list released last Sunday.

For this year 2020, the society magazine recognized six influential figures “in different fields who continue to inspire many for their remarkable work as active agents of change as present.”

“Thanks Lifestyle Asia for recognizing the work that I do for the Filipino people and for honoring me as an Agent of Change,” Rep. Roman posted on her Facebook Page.

Roman said, “Sometimes it’s not just about achieving your end goal. The merit lies in fighting and struggling to reach that goal. It is in the struggle that people recognize that there are reasons to protect the marginalized.”

The second-termer solon added she believes in equality and has committed herself to the “cause of equality, not only for the LGBT Community, but also for farmers, fisherfolks, veterans, indigenous peoples, cancer patients, students, the youth, and all Filipinos.”

Aside from Congresswoman  Roman, other personalities who made it on the 2020 Agents of Change list are Tourism secretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat, designer and philanthropist Tessa Prieto-Valdes, former actor and current Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, socialite-philanthropist Kaye Tinga, and Miss Universe 2018, Catriona Gray.
