Olongapo City schools get P600K hand hygiene facilities

SUBIC BAY FREEPORT – Subic EnerZone Corporation in partnership with Manila Water Foundation held a turn over ceremonies of the two (2) newly constructed Hand Hygiene Facilities worth of P600 thousand pesos to Olongapo City Elementary School (OCES) and Gordon Heights National High School yesterday, August 22, 2022 in Olongapo City.

To provide support for Lingap Eskwela program of the Department of Education, Subic Enerzone provides the following Wash in School Interventions.The Construction of Department of Education (DepED) and Department of Health (DOH)- approved hygiene facilities amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, provides pedal- operated facilities with features on physical distancing, access to soap and clean water, provision of hygiene supplies and info-education materials and hygiene education session.

These project aims to help facilitate the safe return of pupils, students, teachers, and staff upon resumption of face -to -face classes.Present during the turnover were  Subic EnerZone Corporation Chief Operating Officer (COO) Engr. Dante Pollescas, Olongapo City Mayor Rolen Paulino Jr, Dep Ed Division of Olongapo Superintendent Leilani Cunanan,  Manila Water Foundation Representative Miss Ivy De Leon  and Subic EnerZone Reputation Enhancement Supervisor Engr. Jeff Figuerez .
