PDEA agents nab Chinese drug trafficker 

A Chinese national on Friday yielded 105 grams of shabu worth P700,000 during a buy-bust operation conducted by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Central Luzon.

Siezed from suspect Lu Liqiang alias “Tiger,” 26,  a resident of Zone 2, Pasay City, at least 105 grams of shabu valued at P714,000, seven vials of unknown liquid substance, a .9mm gun with magazine and suppressor and the vehicle he used in his illegal activity.

The buy bust operation was jointly conducted by local police, PDEA Central Luzon and PDEA NCR and it took them about a week in securing a drug deal with Lu.

Charges for violation of RA 9165 and RA 10591 are now being readied against the foreigner. — By Bernard Galang
