Phl Contractors Accreditation Board window processes 674 applications in Central Luzon

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — A total of 674 applications were processed last year at the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB) window inside the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Regional Office 3.

“More than half or 398 came from contractors from Pampanga while there were 96 from Nueva Ecija and 72 from Bataan. There were also 66 PCAB applicants from Tarlac, 30 from Bulacan, 10 from Zambales and 2 contractor applicants from Aurora,” DTI Regional Director Judith Angeles disclosed.

“Of the 674 applications processed, 484 are regular license applications, 146 are applications for Accreditation for Registration of Classification of Contractors in Government Infrastructure Projects (ARCC), 36 are for Special License applications, and 8 applicants applied for Amendments,” Angeles added.
 
In 2016, a total of 445 PCAB licenses and accreditations were processed at the PCAB Window. Majority of these or 319 were regular PCAB license applications, 115 were ARCC applications, 5 were special license and 6 were application for amendments.
