In the face of the ongoing threat of coronavirus or COVID-19 which already infected more than 6,000 Americans and killed more than 100, San Francisco Mayor London Breed ordered “Shelter in Place” effective March 17, asking residents to stay at home to minimize movement and transmission. The community quarantine will take effect until April 7.
