BAGAC, Bataan — Around 50 lawmakers visited this municipality for the Congressional North and Central Luzon Inspection Trip last Tuesday, June 6, 2017.
Second District of Bataan Congressman Jose Enrique “Joet” Garcia III and Bataan 1st District Rep. Geraldine B. Roman joined other solons as they gathered in the imposing theater of Hotel de Oriente in this one of a kind heritage resort, the solons took a relaxing break from a week long road tour around Luzon.
House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez together with Majority Leader Rudy Farinas led the said inspection trip to personally assess roads, bridges and tourist facilities in Northern and Central Luzon.
Both Reps. Roman and Garcia proudly presented the province to their fellow solons, who were all captivated by its uniqueness and beauty.
Bagac Mayor Luis Gabriel Del Rosario, Balanga City Mayor Francis Anthony S. Garcia, former Congresswoman Herminia Roman and Isabel Garcia were also present to receive the inspection trip delegates in Bataan.
Before going to Bataan, the lawmakers held a hearing at a hotel at the Subic Bay Freeport to settle the atmosphere of menace in the Freeport’s leadership issues.– MHIKE CIGARAL
