(UPDATED) A barangay chairwoman riding a bike along with a companion, were shot dead on Thursday by two men in Ramos, Tarlac.
ITarlac police identified the fatalities as barangay chairwoman Edita Sarsuela, 61, and Edgar Sarsuela, 61.
Both are residents of Bgy. Plastado, Gerona, Tarlac.
Initial probe showed the victims were on their routine biking when two suspects on a plateless motorcycle suddenly overtook them then fired shots at them.
The suspects then immediately fled to unknown direction.
The police immediately ordered a dragnet operation and seached for CCTV footages near the crime scene.
