The Commission on Elections (Comelec) will resume the registration of new voters for the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) elections from November 7, 2016 to April 29, 2017.
Registration of new voters will be held at the City Election Office, 2nd floor Mabalacat City Hall, Xevera in Barangay Tabun, Mabalacat City from 8am to 5pm.
Based on Republic Act 10742, qualified SK voters should be 15 to 30 years old.
SK voters registered as of July 2016 shall not register anew except those who will turn 31 on October 27, 2017 elections.
The Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) elections is slated on October 23, 2017.
SK candidates must be 18 to 24 years old, Filipino citizen, resident of the barangay for not less than a year, not related within the second civil degree of consanguinity of affinity to any incumbent elected official in the locality where the candidate seeks to be elected.
For the May 13, 2019 national and local elections, filing of registration is from December 4, 2017 to September 29, 2018.
Transfer/transfer with reactivation, change/correction of entries, and inclusion/reinstatement of records in the list of voters shall be filed personally at the City Election Office, 2nd floor Mabalacat City Hall.
