2 dope dealers killed, 14 arrested in Bulacan dope war

CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan — Two more armed drug dealers were killed while 14​ ​other suspects were arrested during police operations conducted by Bulacan Police over the weekend.

Bulacan acting police director Senior Supt. Romeo Caramat Jr., said that based on police reports​,​ one was killed in Brgy Malhacan, Meycauayan City Bulacan on June 17, 2017 at about 2​ a.m.​ and another one in Brgy FVR Norzagaray, Bulacan on June 16, 2017 at around 11:55 p.m.

Caramat identified the ​fatalities as Roman/Bebe, 30 to 40 years old, 5’5” to 5’9” in height, heavy built, with brown complexion and included in the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) watch list of Meycauayan City; and Benjie Pacomo alias “Benjie” (newly identified BADAC Drug Personality of Norzagaray MPS), a resident of Blk 10 Lot 37 Ph 1 Brgy. FVR Norzagaray, Bulacan.

Investigation revealed that during the operations when the suspects noticed that they were transacting with police operatives​,​ drew and shot their firearms towards the law enforcers that prompted the law enforcers to fire back that resulted in the suspects’ death. No casualty was reported on the PNP side.

Scene of the Crime Operatives processed the crime scene and recovered the following: seven (7) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected “shabu”; one (1) cut opened transparent plastic sachet containing residue; two (2) Caliber .38 Smith and Wesson revolver; one (1) hand grenade; several fired cartridges and ammunition; one cellphone; buy-bust money and assorted drug paraphernalia.

Caramat added that at least 14 other drug suspects were arrested in different police operations conducted in City/Municipalities of San Jose del Monte (SJDM); San Rafael, Paombong, Bustos, Norzagaray, Bulakan, Baliwag and Balagtas, wherein twenty-seven (27) small sizes and one (1) medium size heat sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected “shabu”; buy-bust money; and assorted drug paraphernalia’s were recovered. The arrested suspects were identified as 1) Mark Bryan Reyes y Cabusao @ Bok Bok Capino (BADAC Watch List Drug Personality),; 2) Joel Baltazar Y Cabigao @ Joel (surrendered in Oplan Double Barrel Reloaded and undergone Bahay Pagbabago Reformation Center in Paombong MPS); 3) Jonathan Ramos y Gregorio “Jonas” (BADAC Listed/Surrendered in Oplan Tokhang); 4) Joel Cruz y dela Cruz @ Joel; 5) Joey Diwa Y Batoy Alias Calvo Bantillan; 6) John Patrick Rayo Y Hermogenes @ Usit Lopez; 7) Jojo Iliw-Iliw Y Encina @Udon; 8) Manolito Villanueva y Suyao,; 9) Arnold Sulit y Parposa,; 10) Paul Jhon Angeles y Cuhidian; 11) Marilou Bigornia y Morado; 12) Mark Bryan Reyes y Cabusao Alias Bok-Bok (BADAC Watch List Drug Personality) and 13) Enmark Mirano y Espinosa @ Brando/ Bong Surio.

Appropriate criminal complaints against the arrested suspects are now being filed before the City/Provincial Prosecutors Office of Bulacan.

​​In San Jose del Monte City, an alleged notorious drug dealer listed in the BADAC as “priority target” was arrested during a buy bust operation in Bgy. Bagong Buhay III, Early Sunday morning.

Supt. Fitz Macariola, SJDM City police chief, identified the arrested suspect as Manolito Villanueva, 53, resident of said place.

Macariola said that the suspect was arrested after selling a plastic sachet of shabu to a police undercover agent.

Police recovered three more plastic sachets of shabu from the suspect who will be charge​d​ with violation of the comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act. –Emil G. Gamos
