27 drug pushers, users arrested in Mabalacat

At least 27 illegal drug pushers and users were arrested over the Holy Week by the Mabalacat City police led by Supt. Juritz Rara and Drug Enforcement Team Leader Senior Inspector Melvin Florida.

This, after the intensive re-launching of the Philippine National Police’s anti-illegal drugs drive dubbed as ‘Oplan Double Barrel Reloaded.’

In its latest released data, the third most wanted person in the city with an alias ‘Tarzan’ and the top 8 most wanted under the provincial level were among the captured individuals.

“We strongly support our President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s advocacy to eradicate illegal drugs dahil kawawa ang mga anak atin. Dito pakakainin kayo ng gobyerno,” City Mayor Marino Morales said during the presentation of arrested drug related individuals on Thursday.

Five among the 27 arrested are women.

Joining Morales and Halili are Councilors Rogelio Yumul and Jerry Basilio.
