CABANATUAN CITY, NUEVA ECIJA – Three drug suspects were arrested while another three minors were rescued in a bust-bust operation on Thursday afternoon in this city.
The entrapment was launched by joint elements of PDEA Nueva Ecija Provincial Office and NEPPO PPDEU/PIU in Purok 4, Brgy. Bantug Norte, Cabanatuan City.
PDEA 3 Regional Director Christian O. Frivaldo identified the suspects as John Michael Digno alias “Boy,” 24; Francisco Leo Dela Cruz, 19; and Benedict Dela Pena, 18, all residents of Purok 4, Bgy. Bantug Norte, Cabanatuan City.
The male minors were turned over to the Local Social Welfare Development Officer for counseling and debriefing.
Confiscated in the operation were 11 plastic sachets of shabu worth P136,000; five plastic sachets of suspected dried marijuana leaves valued at of P4,800.
Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspects.
