Country singer-songwriter Kenny Rogers passed away peacefully, his family confirmed.
“The Rogers family is sad to announce that Kenny Rogers passed away last night at 10:25PM at the age of 81. Rogers passed away peacefully at home from natural causes under the care of hospice and surrounded by his family,” said in the social media post.
Rogers, a multi-Grammy awardee, is famed for his songs ‘The Gambler’, ‘Lady’, Through the Years and ‘Islands in the Stream’.
The legendary singer staged his first and last live concert in Manila in 2016.
