A 72-year-old senior citizen was arrested, Friday morning, by Hermosa Police opertatives for allegedly raping his two grandaughters in Sitio Sta. Maria, Barangay Culis, Hermosa, Bataan.
According to a report from Hermosa Police chief, Police Major Jeffrey Onde, the arrested person was identified as Manuel Daculong, alias Manoy and a resident of the said place.
Daculong was the main suspect of rape incidents that transpired two years ago, some time in January 2019 and June 2020, involving his two grand daughters aged 12 and 14.
The suspect was arrested by virtue of three warrants of arrest issued by Hon. Judge Amelita Corpuz for the crime of Rape under Article 266a of the Revised Penal Code in relation to Republic Act 7610 or Child Abuse Law.
Daculong was immediately brought to Hermosa Municipal Police for proper documentation and disposition.
