The municipality of Bocaue on Friday hosted the first meeting in 2023 of the Bulacan chapter of the Vice Mayors’ League of the Philippines (VMLP).
Led by Bocaue Vice Mayor Atty. Sherwin Tugna, the first class municipality warmly welcomed the different vice mayors of Bulacan and showcased its brand of hospitality and good governance.
‘Isang malaking karangalan para sa dakilang bayan ng Bocaue na maging host ng kauna-unahang pagpupulong ng VMLP-Bulacan sa taong ito. Nawa’y ang mainit na pagtanggap ng mga Bocaueño sa ating kapwa Bulacan vice mayors ay magsilbing inspirasyon para maging produktibo ang ating pagpupulong ngayong araw,” Tugna said.
Tugna, who is also the public relations officer (PRO) of the VMLP Bulacan Chapter, encouraged his fellow vice mayors to strengthen their cooperation and partnerships with one another to promote effective governance, people-oriented legislation and economic progress.
“Gaya kung papaano po magkakampi ang mga Bocaueño at patuloy na hindi lumilimot sa aming mga pinanggaligan upang makapunta sa mas maginhawang kinabukasan, ito rin po sana ay ating magawa sa antas ng VMLP. Tayong lahat ay patuloy na magtulungan at magbahaginan ng ating mga kaalaman at karanasan para mapaunlad natin ng sabay-sabay ang ating mga bayan, at ang lalawigan ng Bulacan,” Tugna said.
With the support of Bocaue Mayor Jon Jon Villanueva, Senator Joel Villanueva and CIBAC Party List Representative Bro. Eddie Villanueva, the meeting of the VMLP Bulacan chapter was held at the main hall of Bocaue’s St. Martin of Tours Parish Church.
