Bulacan bags 18th straight CLRAA crown

MALOLOS CITY — The province of Bulacan bagged its 18thstraight overall championship in the Central Luzon Regional Athletics Association Meet.

Department of Education said the team got 70 gold medals, 81 silver, and 54 bronze during the event which was held this year in Zambales. Bataan placed second while Olongapo City ended third.

“I congratulate the student-athletes for once again bringing the province on top of the standings,” Governor Wilhelmino Sy Alvarado said during the victory party held at the provincial capitol gymnasium.

For her part, Bulacan Schools Division Superintendent Zenia G. Mostoles congratulated the athletes and reminded them not to stop training especially those who qualified in the Palarong Pambansa which is slated this year in Davao City. (CLJD/VFC-PIA 3)
