CDC donates 20 Kabuhayan Kart to Mabalacat residents

CLARK FREEPORT— As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility program, Clark Development Corporation (CDC) recently donated 20 Kabuhayan Mobile Kart to selected residents of Mabalacat City.

With their mission to uplift the lives of the marginalized sector of the community, CDC through its External Affairs Department (EAD) in partnership with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Mabalacat City headed by Mayor Crisostomo Garbo spearheaded the distribution of the livelihood mobile karts.

The LGU of Mabalacat also provided each kart with P10,000 worth of grocery items that will help each beneficiary to start-up a small food business.

During the activity, CDC- EAD Assistant Vice President Rommel Narciso said that the Kabuhayan Mobile Kart project is part of the CDC’s program to provide sustainable livelihood for nearby communities in Clark.

Bagamat maliit, ito ay isang umpisa tungo sa pagbabago at pagunlad bilang mga productive citizens ng ating bansa,” Narciso said to the beneficiaries of the project.

Narciso also mentioned that CDC is continuously strengthening its partnership with various LGUs near this Freeport to create more community development initiatives.

Narciso further said that the state-owned firm’s partnership with its nearby communities will serve as a benchmark for other economic zones to foster related projects.
