Businessman Dennis Uy, owner of Internet and cable provider Converge ICT Inc, said millions of dollars will be infused for the development of fiber technology in the Luzon area and the Visayas. Uy said the development of the digital highway or backbone will allow the country to take advantage of modern technology. The country was left behind in the fiber technology, he said.
