The IBR would ensure the proper monitoring, receipt, inventory and overall handling of unclaimed baggage; unaccompanied, mishandled and lost and found baggage or articles and secure these until these are claimed and released to the owners. The CRK IBR is only the second such facility in the 17 Bureau of Customs Collection Districts around the country. The first was opened at NAIA in 1991.
