Deped seeks learning alternatives aside from online

As most learners do not have sufficient access to the internet, the Department of Education is looking for other modes of learning in preparation for the proposed resumption of classes this August 2020.

Deped Secretary Leonor Briones said a clear majority from various sectors and stakeholders affirmed this move and the intervening two months from June to August will be spent on devising modules and programs to ensure the continuity of learning and safety of learners.

Briones also encouraged teachers and students to subscribe to Deped’s online educational platform, the Deped Commons.

This project is in partnership with Globe which can be accessed for free by TM and Globe subscribers.
