As the yuletide season approaches, Midori Clark Hotel and Casino launched the second leg of the Corporate Social Responsibility Program – Angels’ Dream 2017.
The Midori management has also lighted the giant Christmas Tree last Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at the Hotel Lobby.
Some 600 Aeta kids who were the beneficiaries of this year’s Angels’ Dream have also joined the celebration and showcased their talents by featuring their indigenous songs and dances which entertained the guests and sponsors of the event.
One of the highlights of the event was the hanging of wish cards, where kids hung up their wishes in the Christmas Tree. These symbolize that the wishes and dreams of the little youngsters can be fulfilled. Few days before Christmas, the participants’ wishes will come true. Santa Claus will come a little bit early as the gift giving ceremony will take place on December 15, 2017.
“With the tagline “Be a Blessing by Giving”, Angels’ Dream 2017 aims to beat 2016 record by fulfilling the wishes of 600 Aeta kids. We are encouraging our guests and business partners to sponsor a child wish. All together we can make Christmas even brighter, more meaningful and something that always leaves a jolly mark in the heart”. GM Vic Chan says.
Highlighting the event was the Christmas Tree lighting ceremony spearheaded by the Midori Clark Hotel and Casino’s Top Management – Mr. Vic Chan the Hotel General Manager, Mr. Manny Aure the Casino General Manager together with its subsidiaries Mr. Rafael Suarez, the Aqua Planet Manager, OVBD Shift Manager Ms. Kim Lansang and Mr. James Lee of Eagle Sky.
Certificates of Appreciation were also awarded by the participating schools to Midori Clark Hotel and Casino executives and some fruits, vegetables and root crops were also given by Aeta Kids as token of gratitude.
After the launch, for a series of weeks company representatives will be visiting schools in Sitio Babo, Sapang Bato, Sitio Haduan, Sitio Monicayo, Marcos and Macapagal Village to provide some program, early treats and get wishes of the other Aeta Kids.
