Northeast monsoon affecting most parts of PH Thursday

MANILA — Cloudy skies and light rains will prevail in some areas in Luzon due to the northeast monsoon (amihan).

In its 4 a.m. forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Batanes and Cagayan including Babuyan Group of Islands will have cloudy skies with light rains caused by the northeast monsoon.

Likewise, Ilocos and Cordillera regions and the rest of Cagayan Valley will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have cloudy skies with isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms.Temperature in Metro Manila ranges from 26-34 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City 23-33°C; Baguio City 16-26°C; Metro Cebu 25-32°C; and Metro Davao 24-34°C. (PNA)
