P4M worth of shabu confiscated in Bulacan

CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan – Combined operatives of the Bulacan Police and Northern Police District Drug Enforcement Units conducted separate buy-bust operations that netted more than P4 million worth of shabu in Pandi town Friday morning.

Senior Supt. Chito Bersaluna, acting Bulacan police director, said four drug suspects were arrested in the two police operations in Pandi Heights, Barangay Cacarong Matanda, Pandi town.

Arrested first were identified as Arjay Samporna and Reuben Bisonaya at around 8:30am at Lot 26, Block 16 in the said subdivision and recovered from them two plastic sachets of suspected shabu each weighing more or less 100 grams with an estimated street value of P680,000 at 6,800 per gram, Bersaluna noted.

At around 9:30am, Bersaluna said a second buy-bust operation was again successfully conducted at Lot 24, Block 35 of the same subdivision leading to the arrest of Johari Mauna and Patang Mauna and confiscated from them were five plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing more or less 500 grams with a street value of P3,400,000.

Overall a total of 600 grams of shabu with a street value of P4,080,000.00 were confiscated from the four suspects that were all brought to the Northern Police District Drug Enforcement Unit for proper disposition, Bersaluna added.
