PAL cancels, delays some international & domestic flights due to Typhoon Ompong (“Mangkhut”)
In the interest of safety, PAL is cancelling the following flights in anticipation of Typhoon Ompong (international name ‘Mangkhut’):

The following flights from the Middle East will be re-timed to arrive in the afternoon of September 15 to stay clear of the typhoon (instead of their original morning arrival times):

FOR ATTENTION – THIS IS A DEVELOPING SITUATION; FURTHER CHANGES EXPECTED :
We ask our passengers to reconsider their travel plans to and from affected areas for the coming two days, as we expect there to be more cancellations or delays. PAL will closely monitor the typhoon situation and will provide updates on any further changes in schedules or cancellations. Please continue to monitor the status of your flights by logging on to www.philippineairlines.com and check the flight status page within 48 hours before your scheduled trip, or you may download the PAL Mobile App for easier monitoring. We will also post advisories on our Official PAL Facebook page.
Please do not proceed to the airport if your flights are cancelled, but instead avail of the rebooking or rerouting options.
FOR PASSENGERS OF CANCELLED FLIGHTS:
If your contact details are in our reservations records, you will be informed of the status of your flights via e-mail and/or call-out and/or SMS/text.
PAL shall endeavor to rebook you on the next available flights or replacement flights, if any. You have the option to rebook on the flight of your choice within 30 days from original travel date with rebooking service fees waived. You also have the option to reroute or refund your ticket cost.
