CITY OF SAN FERNANDO— The provincial government of Pampanga distributed 33 service vehicles amounting to P26,400,000 to all school districts of the Department of Education (DepEd) in Pampanga province.
Each district through their respective supervisors received a Mitsubishi L300 FB Exceed Model, 17 seater, dual air conditioner, with tint, seat cover and matting.
The distribution was held at the provincial capitol grounds right after the Concelebrated Mass officiated by Archbishop Florentino Lavarias.
Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda together with School Superintendent Leonardo Ding Zapanta of the DepEd Division of Pampanga, and Sangguniang Panglalawigan members led the distribution.
The service vehicles were given out for the benefit of elementary and high school students.
Governor Pineda assured that the Capitol will continue to give its full support and commitment to the activities and programs of DepEd.
On the other hand, the school supervisors thanked the lady governor for the brand new units and continuous support on the education of the youth.
Furthermore, the beneficiaries claimed that the vehicles will be useful for the students since these will serve as their transportation to and from their respective schools. –Almira Julia A. Bituin
