ANGELES CITY — The recently held talent and long gown competition of the Mutya Ning Angeles (MNA) 2018 showcased the beauty and charm of the Filipina, specifically the Kapampangans.
Angeles City Tourism Office (ACTO) head and event organizer, John Montances, said the MNA held at the SM City Clark Event Center, last October 21 was a success overall.
In the preliminary competition, candidate No. 11, Maria April Miranda bagged “Best in Talent” as she displayed her skill in singing. Candidate No. 4, Alyana Marie Chapman exuded grace and class as she paraded her Filipiniana gown and won the award.
Montances said that MNA supports not only the candidates, but also their support groups, make-up artists, their families, and their friends.
This year marks the 26th anniversary of the beauty pageant since its conception in 1992.
The coronation night of MNA is set on November 17 at te Angeles University Foundation Sports and Culturals Center.
