Negosyo Center opens in Palayan City

A Negosyo Center opened shop in Palayan City, Nueva Ecija as the Department of Trade and Industry and the City government of Palayan partnered to assist the Micro Small and Medium Enterprises in the province.

The Negosyo Center was opened in simple ceremonies on December 2, 2016.

Palayan City Mayor Adrianne Mae Cuevas and DTI Provincial Director Brigida T. Pili led the ribbon cutting ceremony and Memorandum of Agreement signing.

Witnessing the ceremony are Renato Arimbuyutan, President of the Nueva Ecija MSME Development Council, provincial directors of DTI in Central Luzon, members of the MSMED Council, academicians from the province and local government officials.

During the opening program, PD Pili gave an overview of the ‘Go Negosyo Act’ or RA 10644. She encouraged everyone to support the Negosyo Center and to patronize its services. She said that through the Center, government services can easily be accessed. Director PIli also clarified that the Center is not exclusive for DTI services but a center for many government services.

For her part, Mayor Adrianne May Cuevas welcomed and thanked the participants. She was elated that finally the Negosyo Center was established in Palayan. She said that through the Center, the products of Palayan will be promoted, especially the Bignay wine.
