Ponce marks first 100 Days with SOBA

Angeles City – Balibago Barangay Chairman Joseph PG Ponce has delivered the much-anticipated First 100 Days State of the Barangay Address (SOBA), highlighting significant achievements and outlining future plans for the community’s development.

In an address held at barangay quadrangle, barangay hall on February 28, 2024, Ponce shared the remarkable progress made during the initial phase of their administration. Key accomplishments include:

  1. Infrastructure Development: Initiating feasibility studies for essential infrastructure projects and conducting repairs and maintenance of vital community facilities;
  2. Social Services: Expanding access to healthcare through medical missions and providing assistance to vulnerable sectors;
  3. Environmental Initiatives: Implementing waste segregation programs and organizing clean-up drives to promote environmental sustainability; and
  4. Community Engagement: Establishing Barangay Development Councils and conducting barangay assemblies to gather feedback and suggestions from residents.

The address also highlighted the proactive measures taken to address various challenges faced by the barangay, such as infrastructure deficiencies and social issues.

Looking ahead, Ponce outlined the following plans for the future:

  1. Drafting a comprehensive development plan in consultation with stakeholders;
  2. Conducting capacity-building programs for barangay officials and volunteers;
