CSC: 11, 418 unfilled gov’t positions in Pampanga

Civil Service Commission Pampanga Field Office Director Attorney Dulce Cochon said there are 11, 418 vacancies out of 149,518 government plantilla positions in Pampanga.

This, despite the number of career service examination passers in both professional and sub-professional level yearly.

Cochon also announced during the Kapihan in Widus Hotel on November 8 that there are 14,885 job order employees who needs to acquire eligibility as the CSC will terminate Jos in national offices by 2019.

“Job orders are not considered government employees because they are not under the jurisdiction of CSC. They are not entitled to any benefits and bonuses received by a regular employee. JOs and individuals willing to work in the government are encouraged to take the exam for job promotion,” Cochon added.

The CSE is administered twice a year by the Civil Service Commission and is open to all Filipino citizens who are at least 18 years old. Examination fees are P500 for the Paper and Pencil Test (PPT) and P600 for Computer-Assisted Test (CAT). Application forms must be submitted personally to the CSC office in Maimpis, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
