Velvet Ganache by Chef Vince Garcia opens second branch at SM City Telebastagan

Young Kapampangan Restaurateur and Chef de Cuisine Leonard Vincent Garcia has opened a new branch of his famous boulangerie and patisserie, the Velvet Ganache, June 22 at SM City Telabastagan.

Joining Garcia in the ceremonial cake slicing is co-owner partner Jeff Del Mundo of DM Prime Holdings with family.

“The breads are baked on a daily basis and after that kapag 8p.m. na we sell them at 50% off kasi we want to give our customers nothing but the freshly-baked. We also offer pizza, pasta, burger and steak. Sinisigurado namin na masarap lahat,” Garcia saiď.

On asked about the concept of Velvet Ganache, Garcia shared it was his brainchild to put up a humble cafe two years ago. The brand itself is derived from French words meaning soft chocolate.

Garcia, most known as ‘Chef Vince’ was once a pandesal vendor, ball boy and a lawn tennis scholar. He finished Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management at Systems Plus College Foundation in Angeles City, Pampanga in 2011. To turn his dreams into reality, he furthered his culinary skills and was able to put up the Rainforest Kichene in 2014 which serves delectable gourmet food. After finishing his degree in Boulangerie Arts and Patisserie at the Lyceum of the Philippines University, Chef Vince is now one of the blossoming culinary icons of Pampanga.

“This is just a beginning of another great and exciting adventure. Truly one for the books,” he added.
